Travel Inspiration - UAE

Traveling for me is getting to know the people.

When you talk to the locals, whether it be in their homes, on the street, in a restaurant or bar, you get a much richer view of the country you are visiting.  When you get to know the people, you are erasing those stereotypes, and learning that all the people in the world want the same things in life.  We are a global family!

Coming up!  I am inspired everday by all of your posts!  I would like to invite you to join me on Sunday’s Travel Inspiration.  On June 1st and every weekend after that, I’ll open up our Sunday’s Travel Inspiration posts for you to link a postcard, anecdote, or post from your website.  Stay tuned for more information on how to join in!

  1. I agree, it is the people that you meet on the journey, hopefully locals that share something wonderful about their culture.

  2. We incorporate house sitting assignments into our travel itinerary and it offers us the chance to ‘meet the neighbours’ in locale across the globe! We’ve met some wonderful folks all over the world and every single person has enriched our experience of the location.
