Hoi An is one place most visitors go after Ho Chi Minh or Hanoi, and this is the one of the reasons!
Hoi an is on most visitor’s itinerary, because not only is it situated at a gorgeous spot on the Perfume River or have amazing sights to visit, the city also hosts a plethora of garment-makers. Just like those before me, I went to get a few specific items hand-made, to my exact specifications, and size. I had a gorgeous maroon wool coat made with toggles. I love it.
As you walk down the main street in Hoi an, you don’t see many of the garment salespeople, they are off on a side road, but this little shop filled with sewing machines and men hard at work were right there. I think it totally captures what Hoi an is, especially to the visitor.
Have you been to Hoi an? What did you get made for yourself?
