Germany is an easy place to live. It’s organized, clean, easy to get around, and there is plenty to do from beautiful towns, castles, fortresses, rivers, fun activities for all ages, and great food. You won’t run out of things to do, and you will love it. I really hope that if you are considering a trip to Europe you plan to see some of Germany. You won’t regret it.

Some of the destinations listed here are so out of the way and back country, that you are unlikely to do them on a regular holiday, but such great places to go if you live here or come here frequently on business and you want to do something a little different.
We lived in Germany a total of 15 years, because of the US military. Our jobs allowed us to really adopt it as our second home. Both our daughters were born in Bitburg where we lived for four years. We’ve also lived in Frankfurt, Schweinfurt, and Grafenwoehr, so we have a lot to share with you.
