Yes, traveling for me is largely about the food.  Why not?  It’s such a deep look into the culture, and there is nothing better than smiling at the person on the street that is cooking up your dinner and watching his or her every move so that you can try to remember how to do this one day on your own.

Here are some of my favorite street food posts.  Enjoy…and ’tis the season to eat, eat, eat!

  1. Yep! Totally agree that one of the best things about travel is the food. 😀 We like to watch the people make it too, and a lot of times, Daniel would even ask what ingredients are in it, and we’ll note it down in case we want to try to make it ourselves.

  2. I totally agree, food is one of the most enjoyable things when it comes to travel. I’m not the most adventurous when it comes to trying out new tgings but whenever I go to a new place I do make it a point to at least have a bit of the staple food there.

  3. Here is a photo of my favourite place on earth for street food: Sidi Bouzid in South Tunisia. They keep sheep, kill them as needed and grill the meat in front of you ready to eat on the spot. OMG so tasty!

  4. You have always been a lady after my foodie heart, Corinne. Being a foodie I’m right with you on any and all cuisine experiences! Freshly grilled fish…yummy! 🙂
