Happy New Year!

Happy New Year from ReflectionsEnroute!

Wishing everyone happiness and health as we enter the New Year!  With Love, Jim and Corinne from ReflectionsEnroute

Part of our New Year tradition is, of course, making resolutions. Most of ours are travel related. For instance, one of our travel resolutions for this next year is to visit all of the countries in Europe. “Your New Year’s resolutions should be attainable,” I hear you saying. Well, we only have a small handful of European countries to go: Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, and Kosovo are all that’s left. All are short flights from Munich so I think we can do it! Then it’s time to focus on destinations further afield. Other resolutions we have set include the usuals like eating right (try to visit at least one Michelin starred restaurant each month of the year) and getting more exercise (like skiing and hiking in the Swiss Alps). What are your travel resolutions?

Wherever you are and whatever you may be doing this holiday season, I hope you are making the most of your time and enjoying family and friends. I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite articles from this past year for you to open up and enjoy!

  1. Happy New Year to you both. My resolutions? Remember people’s names when I meet them is a big one that I failed in 2016. We tend to just follow the principle of serendipity re travel – things just happen.

  2. Happy New Year! Those are terrific resolutions, especially the one about the Michelin star restaurants. My 2017 resolution is to avoid getting electrocuted this year. Last summer, my quest for a good photo led me straight into an (unmarked) electric fence. The zap caused me to drop my phone… behind the fence. I got zapped 2 more times while retrieving it.

  3. Wish you both a Happy New Year 2017, looking for more of your article post.
Glad that you people have covered almost every part of Europe, more way to go.
Keep posting such amazing destinations and your experiences with it. 🙂

  4. Jim and Corinne, Happy New Year! You guys are one of my main influences when it comes to all things travel. I want to be like you guys when I grow up. I am sure you are going to be able to visit those four countries and many more this year. I already planned my first big adventure of the year. I do not want to give up a lot but Germany is included in the plans. Wishing you the best in 2017!
