Our entire family are Disney fans. Rock Hounding in Montana

One thing about a far-flung family is I get to visit all over the U.S. when completing my rounds. We drove from Tacoma to Stephensville, Montana to visit my mother-in-law.

Montana is a beautiful state, and one of my favorite pastimes is to take photos of all of the barns and wide landscapes as we drive along the interminable stretches of highway.

Old Milwaukee Cafe on the corner of 6th and Cedar, downtown Tacoma.

Old Milwaukee Cafe and Dessert Company is located in downtown Tacoma, Washington. Go there for the amazing breakfast options. You won’t be disappointed–unless you can’t get a seat.

I’ve Ridden a Duck!

Ok, so it wasn’t a real duck, and I’m definitely not the only one, if you go by the crowds that were in Seattle on that sunny day, but it was a blast!  And, I can add it to my “modes of transporation” list.  Woo hoo!

The ducks are WWII amphibious craft that are glorified bus tours that don’t just drive the streets, but also can go in water.  Even though I’m not a “tour” person per se, this type of activity always appeals to me, because hey- it’s fun!
